When: Saturday May 9th & Sunday May 10th, 2026

For who: Daily forays are FREE to attend for WMS members.

When registering for camping, be sure to name the event as “WMS Spring Campout”

Tent camping: $10/tent Note: You *may have your car at your campsite with the tent camping option. *Price is per tent
Car camping: $20 Note: *This is only if you are sleeping in your car.
RV camping: $60 *No electricity or water. *Small quiet generators allowed.

We will be camping Saturday night in the field North East of the Jennings Holler complex. Please follow the road north of their main entrance into the campground. It will be marked with WMS signage.

*Please no glass in the campground!, bring your own garbage bags, pack out recyclables & compost, leave no trace.
*It is ok to bring in your own food/ drinks (of all kinds) in with you to the campground -just not into the Jennings Holler Venue next door
*There will be a communal fire pit, otherwise personal fires must be in raised enclosed rings.
*Wood will be available for purchase at Jennings Holler next door.

Schedule of events:
Saturday:
10 am Campers are welcome to arrive and set up.
1:30 pm Meet at the campground – this includes campers and non-campers just arriving for the day’s foray, once assembled, we will depart for the foray site in a ‘caravan’. Car pooling is encouraged.
2 – 4 pm Guided Foray (location TBD)
State park stickers may be required depending on which site we select to foray at.
4 pm Gather and look at finds/table talk.
5 pm through Evening : The day’s finds will be on display at the campground with foray leaders on site to answer questions and identify interesting finds.You’re welcome to bring snacks and drinks to share.
Dusk into the night: Campout! Campfire music (Bring your instruments!), “tall morel tales”, and camaraderie!!
*Jennings Holler right next door has a full bar with food & nightly entertainment as well!

Sunday: Two forays today! You can go to one or both.
Note* Jennings Holler will be having a Mother’s Day Extravaganza with an AYCE Breakfast Buffet, Hanging Basket Workshops and Bluegrass starting at 11 am right next door!
