D.B. Rouse

Americana, Alt-Country, FolkMilwaukee, WI

About

D.B. Rouse is a Milwaukee-based migrant Americana musician who has worked as a lounge singer on a cruise ship, a singing ranch hand near Austin, and a hobo musician for the Grand Canyon Railway. Performing with his guitar "Meal-Ticket," he's also an entertainer, poet, and published novelist whose work spans Americana, alt-country, and folk — saucy, tightly-woven humor elevating the human condition. Compared to Woody Guthrie and Weird Al, Rouse releases pay-what-you-want albums and is sponsored by Kazoobie Kazoos.
